An award winning contemporary garden in a Grade II listed setting
This architect designed house is set in an old walled vegetable garden. The house is angular, whilst the walls are curvaceous. The simple, floor to ceiling windows and doors demand a garden which looks stunning all the year round and in every direction. The diagonal design of the garden invites one to circulate through the different spaces and is overlaid with sweeps of lush planting. A serpentine box hedge refers to the garden’s previous role as a vegetable garden and to the old boundary wall. This garden received a Gold Award in the New Homes Garden Awards and a Commendation by Salisbury Civic Society.
