Catherine trained at
Sparsholt College, Hampshire, 1994-5 and has been designing gardens and
landscapes of all shapes, styles and sizes ever since.
In 2002 she achieved
registered membership of the Society of Garden Designers, the only
professional body setting standards in garden design in the UK and she
undertakes to abide by the Society’s code of conduct.
A comprehensive design
service is offered, from consultancy to full design. Central to her
approach is creating harmony between a client's
style, the buildings and surrounding landscape. She
works closely with her clients to ensure that this harmony is achieved.
Sympathetic use of hard
landscape materials and a wide plant knowledge combine to create beautiful
gardens which provide both stimulating environments and peaceful havens.
Sustainable design and
use of traditional materials in contemporary styles are a particular
interest.
To small town gardens and
country estates Catherine brings enthusiasm and commitment.
